Our 'Calm it down!' body custard is ideal for extremely dry, irritated, angry skin.

We have put together a deliberate blend of nourishing butters and oils which are known to calm irritated skin:

• Emu Oil is gaining popularity due to its omega 3, 6 and 9 essential fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory properties, and are thought to regulate immune function and help dampen inflammatory responses.  It is also bacteriostatic  (bacteria cannot grow in its presence). 
• It also has the added benefit of penetrating the skin deeply, as well as promoting wound healing.
• Coconut milk powder gives soothing and softening hydration to skin.
• The star of the show here is the Colloidal Oatmeal, which has gentle reparative properties that soothe and relieve itching, redness and chapping of irritated skin and gives a protective film that helps to decrease trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL).
